I’m Steve Causon, the lead photographer at Your Hand in Mine and I’m a full member of both the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers as well as The Royal Photographic Society. Membership of these photographic institutions mean that I’ve pledged to uphold a high standard of professionalism in my photography. I do of course hold professional indemnity and liability insurance, copies of the certificates are available on request.

As a documentary wedding photographer, people tell me that they I’ve capture the natural moments of their day perfectly. I don’t spend hours posing formal photographs. I provide a friendly professional service and an element of fun!

This “fly on the wall” approach to wedding photography means that guests relax and you get better, more natural photographs.

I take wedding photography very seriously and live by my reputation.  That said, wedding photography is my passion and my sense of fun comes into every wedding I photograph.  I’m not happy unless you’re happy and I work very hard to ensure you’re absolutely delighted with your wedding photographs. Most of my work comes from referrals – people who’ve been to weddings I’ve photographed, liked how I work, loved the photographs and booked me for their own wedding.

To ensure I give each wedding the attention it deserves, I limit myself to photographing no more than 30 weddings a year.

I am a professional photographer who not only has hundreds of brides, grooms and wedding guests as happy customers, but have also completed professional photographic assignments for household names such as the BBC, The Mail on Sunday, The Financial Times and a number of large and small companies – all of whom have been delighted with the way I works and the quality of the results.
